The Raising Cane’s Craze

Samantha Perez Robinson

Locals in Vista have been raving about the new restaurant that just opened up, Raising Cane’s. Conveniently located in downtown, Raising Cane’s quickly became the newest buzzing restaurant amongst many students and families in Vista. According to some of the many customers that go, Cane’s has better food quality than other fast-food restaurants and has a welcoming environment.

“I go to Cane’s because the food is amazing and the atmosphere is fun,” said senior Zach Terrell, “Cane’s is like where memories are made.” Terrell and many of his friends go to the restaurant at least once a week.

As for the employees, they seem to say they welcome everyone, with energetic vibes and positive reinforcements. Even under lots of stress from the overflowing lines and drive-thru, the employees always have a great attitude and keep everything moving. Amelia Oxarart, a senior who works at Cane’s, expresses to her friends how much she loves working there.

“I love the energy the company has, and Cane’s treats their employees very well,” said Oxarart, who believes customers go there mostly because their food is better than most fast-food restaurants that serve chicken, “I think we put a lot more care into the quality of our food, which really shows.”

Something unique about Raising Cane’s is their sauce, offering customers a distinct tastes they get with their food and won’t leave without it. It is what makes Cane’s so special to everyone.

“Cane’s offers food that people in southern California have been starved of,” Senior Alexander Antinarelli said, “It’s unique sauce is what primarily attracts the people along with the fried chicken that is always consistent in flavor. And as a compliment to that, their Texas Toast is lightly buttered that bring the whole meal together.”

The worn out chain restaurants will soon need new ideas to bring in customers and hustle to stay on top. But as for the restaurant that has quickly became everyone’s favorite, Raising Cane’s will continue to stay bustling and the place to be whenever you get your chicken crave.
