Gettin’ Ready for Old Navy

Risa Tarzian

Marguerite Smith

Old Navy will be opening a new store location on Vista Way in Oceanside near Barnes & Noble in October 2018. This will open doors to many opportunities for students who are looking for jobs or a place to shop for clothes. The location of the new store is convenient for Oceanside residents and students that go to Mission Vista High School.

Senior Marguerite Smith just got a job there and is now training to work at Old Navy and help customers, as well as learn about retail and properly folding the clothes.

“The interview went well and I got the job in the matter of days. The manager was very nice and respectful,” Marguerite said.

The distance for most students is perfect because it is not to far from their homes. Perfect for people who have a love for retail and clothing.

“It’s an easy distance from my house and I love fashion,” freshman Cassie Bailiff stated, “so I would definitely consider working there in the future.”

Getting a job there is not the only reason to be excited, other students have said that the clothes that they bought from Old Navy are comfortable and good quality.

“I’m thrilled for the new Old Navy’s opening I always find good stuff there as well as finding clothes that are affordable and long lasting,” freshman Haley Schmidt stated.

Trendy clothes and sales are coming in stock at the New Old Navy in Vista. Possibly even see some of your school friends there working!
